We are raising funds to launch in 2025. Funding goes directly towards compensating care workers and providing for the needs of our guests. We encourage community members to offer a recurring contribution to help us provide non-carceral community care! Donate through our Give Butter campaign or visit the “donate” tab in our menu.

Make an in-kind donation
We are looking for donations of the following items:
- N95 Masks
- COVID-19 tests
- First aid supplies
- Personal hygiene items
- Narcan/naloxone, Fentanyl test strips, and other harm-reduction and risk-reduction supplies
- Nonperishable food items
- Household cleaning products, trash bags, pest control and prevention

Give your expertise as a member of the team
We are looking for individuals to assist with the following:
- Administrative support
- Budgeting and financial support
- Medical and first aid assistance for non-emergency medical issues

Become a PSW or host home
We are looking for peer support workers to staff Detroit Peer Respite, starting with our pilot program in 2025. No prior experience is necessary; compensation is available based on need at $30/hour. Sign up through our PSW interest form or visit the “become a peer support worker” tab in our menu.
We are also looking for one more host home! Host homes will host guests for ten days at a time; hosts do not need to be present at all times. Hosts must be homeowners and have homeowners insurance.
